How to Recover Deleted and Unsaved Documents in Word?
Microsoft Word is one of the most popular word processing software available in the market. However, there are times when the document which you are working on gets closed by mistake without saving it. Step 1: Open Microsoft Word again.
Step 2: Click on File Tab.
Step 3: Click on Manage Account.
Step 4: Choose Recover Unsaved Documents option from the drop-down menu.
Step 5: It will now show the list of all the unsaved Word documents.
Step 6: Choose the document you want to recover and click Open.

If you are using a Windows 10 computer, then there’s another workaround that might be helpful in recovering the lost Word document. In an update, Microsoft introduced a new Timeline feature that syncs all the recent work over the cloud and saves them for 30 days. if you have closed the Word document by mistake, then click on the Timeline button located beside the Cortana at the taskbar. Click on the button, it will show all the currently open windows. Scroll down a bit and look for the document. Once found, click on it to open.
