Apple Launches 13-inch MacBook Pro with Magic Keyboard and Extra Storage
Apple has announced a new 13-inch MacBook with Magic Keyboard and increased storage space. The new MacBook Pro also features 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core processors with Turbo Boost speeds for faster graphics performance.
Apple has introduced Magic Keyboard instead of the earlier Butterfly Keyboard. The features of the new MacBook Pro model include the 10th-generation Intel Core processors delivering faster experience over a 13-inch MacBook Pro model.
The newly added features provide enhanced performance to the product. Here’s what’s new that Apple offers.
The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro’ new Magic Keyboard has a redesigned scissor-switch and it is an upgrade to the existing butterfly keyboard. There is an added inverted-T arrangement for arrow keys. The Magic Keyboard of the new MacBook also features a physical Escape key, along with Touch Bar and Touch ID, making the keys are more stable now and easier to strike.
The New processor of the updated 13-inch MacBook Pro is 2.8 times faster than the previous version. Apple claims that the new version is up to 80% faster than before in the case of video editing and gameplay. It now offers up to 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core processors with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 4.1GHz.
In the 13-inch new MacBook Pro now the entry-model would come with 256 and the next up model would have 512GB inbuilt storage. For users who need more storage capacity for photo libraries and video projects, this 13-inch MacBook Pro offers up to a 4TB SSD.
The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro model comes with a 16GB RAM in the base configuration. The users can avail up to a 32GB RAM upgrade along with up to 4TB of storage.
The weight of the new version is fractionally more, 3.1 pounds instead of the previous 3.01 pounds. With a sleek aluminum body design in space gray or silver, the 13-inch MacBook Pro highly portable and packed with performance-based technologies. The 13-inch Retina of the new MacBook display delivers more than 4 million pixels and millions of colors.
In the MacBook Pro model, Apple is also offering Touch ID support that works along with the built-in Apple T2 security chip to deliver an improved and superior security experience. The T2 helps customer’s information stay safe when they are unlocking their Mac, using online passwords, or making online purchases. It comes with speakers that provide immersive wide-stereo sound and day-long battery life.
Customers purchasing the new MacBook Pro can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app for free. The new model will be available on Apple Authorised Resellers soon. The price of the new MacBook Pro will start at USD 1,299. There will be a USD 100 discount for education customers in the US.
