Netflix releases “The Great Hack” Documentary Unpacking the “Cambridge Analytica” Scandal
Netflix has released a documentary named the “The Great Hack” which unpacks the connections between Cambridge Analytica, US elections and Brexit. The documentary was released on 23rd July and opens with a scene from burning man. The documentary shows interviews with people affected from the whole scandal.
The documentary carefully and expertly unpacks the dark combination of social media, dark advertising and global politics. You don’t have to be tech savvy to understand the documentary as it explains how social media, specifically Facebook, works. The documentary also explains how social media is manipulating people’s lives and society.
