Biggest Announcements from Tokyo Game Show 2019
Tokyo Game Show is an event that happens every September in Tokyo, Japan. The event isn’t as big as E3, but it still attracts game studios, developers and players from all over the world. It’s a place where trailers are dropped, announcements are made, and release dates are revealed. Here are the biggest announcements from Tokyo Game Show 2019:
- Death Stranding: Hideo Kojima showed off more details about his upcoming, mystery-laden game, Death Stranding. First, there was another story trailer, this one titled “Briefing,” which provided a bit more insights on the game’s post-apocalyptic world, in which Norman Reedus’ character Sam is tasked with reconnecting humanity and rebuilding America. Hideo also showed a 45-minute gameplay video.
- Sony: Apart from Death Stranding, Sony showed more details about Yakuza 7, and Resident Evil: Project Resistance. The company showed gameplay and details surrounding other exclusives such as Persona 5 Royaland also games like Shenmue 3. The company also showed details about Nioh 2.
- Bandai Namco: The company revealed Dragon Ball Z: Karkarot, an ambitious-looking RPG that retells the Dragon Ball Z story, from Raditz to Cell Games. The game will be released on January 17th and you will be able to play them on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Apart from that, the company also provided additional information on Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition and One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.
- Capcom: Capcom released some details regarding many games such as Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Special Stage, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection and Mega Man Series Special Stage, Sengoku Basara Special Stage and various others.
