Disney is about to launch its streaming service, Disney+. Disney+ will feature Disney movies, original movies and TV shows, etc. The streaming service is expected to rival other streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, etc. Here is everything you can expect Disney+:
When is the Release Date for Disney+?
Disney+ will launch on November 12th in US, Canada and the Netherlands. The service will launch on Nov 19 in Australia and New Zealand. Globally, Disney plans a progressive rollout worldwide over two years.
How much will Disney+ cost?
In the US, Disney said the service will cost $7 a month, or $70 a year. Its price undercuts the $13 monthly fee for Netflix’s most popular plan in the US. The company also said it’ll bundle Disney Plus with Hulu and ESPN Plus at $13.
In Canada, Disney+ will be priced at CA$9 a month, or CA$90 per year. In the Netherlands, it’ll be €7 a month, or €70 per year. In Australia, it’ll be priced at AUS $9 a month, or AUS $90 per year. New Zealand subscribers will pay NZ$10 per month, or NZ$100 per year.
