You will now be able to schedule tweets from Twitter’s web app

Twitter announced that it is rolling out an experimental feature where you can schedule a new tweet from Twitter’s web app. This new feature could be beneficial to prep tweets in advance, be it for a coordinated product launch or news announcement, for example. This feature wasn’t available before on Twitter’s web app, you would have had to use TweetDeck or a third-party service.

However, Twitter has not yet made clear how many people will be a part of the test. If you are a part of Twitter’s early beta, you can head to Twitter’s website to try the feature. As Twitter has said it’s only “experimenting” with the feature, for now, there’s no way to know when or if it’ll be available to all users. The company could even bring tweet scheduling to its mobile apps someday, too.

To schedule a tweet on the website, type a tweet like you usually do and click on the three dots in the bottom bar. The option will allow you to schedule the tweet for a specific date, time and even the time zone.
